Celtic Flying Dragon Sterling Silver Pendant

A flying dragon curls through this sterling silver pendant with its horned head thrust forward, forelegs raised, and scaled tail sweeping beneath the body. The wings rise prominently behind it, combining textured recessed silver with polished borders and layered Celtic knotwork. A recognizable Trinity knot appears in the upper wing, while the lower section uses a more elongated Celtic interlace that follows the wing’s shape. Individually defined scales, pointed contours, and darkened recesses give the compact 1-inch design a surprising amount of detail.

Dragons are often associated with strength, courage, protection, and power, while the Trinity knot is commonly linked with interconnectedness, unity, and continuity. In this design, the knotwork does not sit separately from the dragon; it becomes part of the wings themselves, reinforcing the sense of movement and continuity throughout the pendant.
